In this world of war, hunger, pain and fear there are causes. Each individual, has a view of world and in that view each individual has his/her beliefs and truths. If one knows (or thinks that he knows) the truth, he would defend it and fight for it, for the good of all. The truth is something to live for, something to die for. However, in this world of diversity, there seems to be so many truths which are right for its believers and wrong for its not-believers. In general, they're all right and all wrong.
In a society, individuals have their own truths and they want to make others believe in their truths because they think that "it is the right thing to do". If, everybody tries to convince others to believe in the thing that they believe in, what would happen? Conflicts. The stronger become the beliefs, the bigger become the conflicts, then starts wars, political problems... Especially when our opinions can be ruled very easily by the media, we should always be doubtful.
If everyone can say this sincerely, "OK. he thinks that way, it is wrong (FOR ME) but anyways he can think as he wants." the world would be a different place. If you ask that "Would I let him belive in that bullshit?" I would say, don't forget, the truth you describe is right for you, not for everyone, and your opinion may look like a bullshit to him too. A little empathy please.
So, in this world of truths and lies, we should have some tolerance for different opinions, and we should learn to let different opinions exist instead of destroying them. Because the popular thoughts of today's world were different for their time. And different opinions of today's world, may and will be popular thoughts of the future. This is what I think, anyone is welcome to think in a different way.
